West Michigan is a great place to live, work, and play! It offers quality schools, diverse neighborhoods, a skilled workforce, affordable housing, lively entertainment options, and so much more!
The REALTOR® and Affiliate Members of the Grand Rapids Association of REALTORS® (GRAR) are proud to promote the benefits of West Michigan living and to do their part to maintain strong neighborhoods and communities through volunteer activities, advocacy efforts, and communication and collaboration with groups who share this philanthropical spirit.
The following three programs are shining examples of this commitment to community:
The Strategic Relations Program cultivates relationships with organizations and entities that may not be directly linked to the real estate industry, but share the belief that West Michigan is a competitive economic zone, stable environment, and the area most capable of providing the highest quality of life in the state.
GRAR has just kicked off its new GRAR.I.Give - 50,000 Points of Light program that encourages REALTOR® and Affiliate Members to collectively gift 50,000 hours of service annually to the West Michigan community as a gesture of goodwill and service outreach.
The Government Affairs Program is designed to inform, communicate, and maintain a relationship with legislators and local units of government for the purpose of advancing private property rights and affordable housing.
The Community Calendar offers a glimpse of upcoming events and activities that might be of interest to you and your family, friends, or associates. The information contained in the calendar is provided by our Community Partners (as identified on the Strategic Relations Program page).
