THAT WAS THEN: From 2003 to 2005, there was a dramatic increase in demand for real estate in greater Grand Rapids. With more buyers chasing fewer properties, buyers were often forced to make quick decisions, compromises, and sometimes had to pay higher than the asking price.

THIS IS NOW: With a large inventory of available homes, the buyer or investor has many more options. Buyers are being more choosy, viewing multiple homes, and finding the home they really want, often at a great price and with great incentives.
