Member Involvement

There are many different avenues members can take to be active with the Association. For example...

Committees - Members of the Association may serve on one of more than eighteen committees. Committee members partake in the growth and development of the Association which assures the successful operation of the Association. These members also provide the input necessary for determining what services/products the members need from the Association in order for the Association to operate productively and successfully.

Awards Program & Luncheon - Annually, an awards luncheon is held to honor members who have demonstrated commitment to the real estate industry, the Association, and professionalism.

Summer Outing - Every summer an outing is planned for all members to enjoy. In previous years, activities have included a continental breakfast, golf, a softball tournament, lunch, volleyball, a raffle for prizes and dinner. This is a great chance for members to get acquainted with one another while enjoying the summer games.

Community Service - The Association is very active in serving the community. The Association is involved with the Chamber of Commerce. A substantial monetary pledge has been completed for the Right Place Program and many community related projects have been developed. These projects have included: A Free Day at the Zoo, a Hat & Glove Drive, a Health & Safety Fair, a bowl-a-thon to benefit Habitat for Humanity, the Pride of Ownership project and the "Is Your Number Up" campaign. All of these activities benefit the community of Greater Grand Rapids.
