Ethnicity

West Michigan is home to a tremendous array of shops, restaurants, religious
institutions and newspapers that cater to our growing ethnic populations. Although we were settled by Dutch immigrants back in the early 19th century, today this is home to growing numbers of people of African, Asian, Ethiopian, Latino and European origin.
