We are pleased to partner in 2016 with the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans to offer opportunities for REALTOR and Affiliate Members and their families to interact and bond with the residents of the Home.  Many of the Veterans who reside in the home do not have family in the area and they long for social interaction and the sense of community that comes from having guests visit them.  This is such a great opportunity to show that our real estate community cares for those who have given so much to our great country!

Volunteer Opportunities Remaining yet in 2016:

Halloween Party:

  • October 28 – Volunteer Team Leader:  Linda Pell (616-813-1436)

Veteran’s Day Celebration:

  • November 11 – Volunteer Team Leader: Pam Afton (231-245-3862)

Please know that you are welcome to bring guests with you for these volunteer opportunities.  This is a great time for your children to learn more about the sacrifices made for our freedom by the Veterans.  If bringing a guest or two, please register yourself using the online program and then email your guest names to Brittany at so that we may keep an accurate count of our volunteers.
