The Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors says there has never been a shorter supply of home for sale around Grand Rapids. The supply is so short, homes are quickly appreciating in value by the double digits. Homeowners who are selling, are getting more than one offer, and usually the offers come in above the asking price. The average home around Grand Rapids is selling for $176 thousand dollars. That’s up 9.6% from a year ago.
